I’m Still Here! Change is Coming!

Hello people!

It just occurred to me that not everyone has the luxury of keeping up with the current events via the EA forums. Forgive me for the silence! No, River has not been taken into custody by the SIA, and Juliana has not been deported :-). I’m working on a brand new website for all my stories and my personal blog! Yay! So, for those of you who are fans of F.I.S.H. and Pruett Family Legacy, or Discovering Juliana and Pruett Family Legacy, or all three, soon the days of going between two websites will be over! You can also expect more stories! More blog posts from me! More fun! More everything! 🙂

The Discovering Juliana and F.I.S.H. sections of the website are completed, so I’d prefer not post anything until I’m ready to post from the new site. So, I hope you can hang on for another couple of weeks. It’s gonna be awesome! Also, I’m trying to find a way for me to transfer you all to the new site so you won’t have to register all over again. If anyone knows any good WordPress plugins for that, please let me know! Next time you hear from me, I’ll be giving you the web address! Stay cool, everyone!

      1. When you are on WordPress.com Click my sites. Since you have jet pack your new site will be listed under your sites on wordpress.com. When you click my sites if it doesn’t bring you to your new site stats page click switch sites and change to your new site.

        Then click settings. Scroll down a little on that page and you will see a link that says migrate followers.
        Click that and you will be able to migrate your followers from both blogs to your new site.

        Also I wouldn’t migrate them till you are ready to share your new site. Once you migrate them they will no longer be followers on your old sites.

      1. Lol Hopefully it doesn’t take the break up too hard. I did that to I fell in love with one and then It made everything I wrote in all Caps So I had to redo the site and find a new theme.

        1. Yes! That is why I test all new themes with writing first. I made the mistake of that too. I hate all caps or weird things at the beginning (like old books with all caps in the first line of the chapter). That’s part of the reason I want to migrate to a self-hosted WP site. A LOT more choices. The paying part is hampering me. lol

            1. Just out of curiosity, why? Or if you don’t want to share, all good. I think the biggest reason for me to do it is because I am running out of space for photos and/or something comes up that I can’t do with the free website. I can justify $5-$8 or so a month. I just can’t pay in one lump sum.

            2. Yeah, one reason was storage, but bigger than that, I really just wanted all my writing on one site. I was tired of having a fragmented audience. Plus…I like nice, fancy things LOL.

            3. Oh, I see. I have followers on all 3 blogs now, but they aren’t necessarily the same people. I could see how annoying that would be. I’ll definitely consider all of that. Right now, I’m looking into getting a new cell phone. So. Much. Work. And. Expense. blah

            5. Nope, I think I’m going to bypass a new phone, for now at least. It’s just too complicated. I have a very cheap, basic phone. So, there are very, very few options. Basically, my current one is better than the other two choices currently. Oh, well, who wants to spend $40/month plus $200 on a new phone? Not me. lol

              I think I’m finally getting the hang of the Goran theme. It took forever as I didn’t understand how it worked.

            7. I was up half the night and actually ended up changing my theme yet again. I went through all the free ones and found my fav. Hopefully, it looks good! 🙂 Thanks for helping! You’re always so sweet and nice!! ❤

  3. For some reason, I feel all of it should have ended with a “Bwahahaha”. You know, like an evil professor sort of laugh. No idea why. I’m in the same boat, so I completely understand! So excited to see what it all looks like! ❤

  4. I’m looking forward to the next Discovering Juliana, but I figured you will post it eventually 🙂 It’s exciting you have a new site under construction, I’m looking forward to seeing it. And I don’t really use the EA forum, just because I’m not in the habit, so I appreciate the info.
